The S-scan covers all applications: foot/ankle, knee, hip, L&C spine, shoulder, elbow, hand/wrist. The unique design and wide rotating patient table guarantees easy patient positioning, patient comfort, maximum stability and easy examination management.

Siting : 

• S-Scan easy to install
  • S-Scan can be installed in a space as small as 18 sqm
  • RF screening is simple as Esaote has a specially developed modular RF shielding available, which avoids costly and time consuming construction works. The innovative Esaote RF pavilion makes use of existing illumination and air-conditioning, makes it possible to install it in a standard room (4 X 4,5 m 2 minimum).
  • S-Scan, thanks to its very low power consumption of only 3 kW can be connected to a standard power outlet (220V or 110V).
• S-Scan is ideal for installation in small or space limited practices.

Connectivity :
The S-scan comes with all network, archiving and documentation features to work either stand alone or as part of an integrated environment.
As a stand-alone scanner: S-scan comes with an integrated DVD archive and retrieve software package, printer output facility and a patient-CD package.
As a networked system: S-scan is DICOM compliant, handles work-lists and has the auto-push facility to automatically send data to a PACS system.
